In the meanwhile, the case is still being investigated.

A five-member investigating team established up in the aftermath of the Murree disaster produced a report that was handed to Punjab's chief minister.
The chief minister presented the contents of the report's conclusions during a news conference, saying that Rawalpindi deputy commissioner had been dismissed and disciplinary action had been issued against him.

Murree's assistant commissioner, as well as Murree's assistant superintendent of police, have been suspended (ASP).

The Rawalpindi chief traffic officer (CTO), Traffic deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Murree divisional forest officer, Murree district emergency officer, Murree Rescue 1122 in charge, and Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) director have all been suspended, according to Buzdar.

The chief minister stated the 15 officials will face disciplinary action as a result of the Murree disaster because "responsible authorities were unable to discharge their duty."

"The government has delivered on its pledge of a transparent investigation into the Murree tragedy," Buzdar said, adding that the study has exposed the authorities' flaws.

The sad occurrence:

On January 8, 23 individuals died from carbon monoxide poisoning while trapped in their automobiles due to severe snowfall in Murree, which stranded thousands of tourist vehicles.

It should be remembered that the Punjab government named Murree a calamity-hit region after heavy snowfall wreaked havoc on the city following the unfortunate tragedy.

Rain and blizzards were anticipated in Murree, according to the local government, with thunderstorms moving at 50-90 kmph and severe snowfall.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) was also rebuked by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday, saying it was accountable for the Murree disaster.
