Babar Azam has been selected captain of the ICC One-Day International squad of the year.

Fakhar Zaman is also included in the Babar Azam-led ICC ODI team of the year.

On Thursday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the ICC One-Day International (ODI) team of the year, with Pakistan national team captain Babar Azam named captain.

On Wednesday, Babar was also named captain of the ICC T20I squad of the year.

"Despite playing just six matches in 2021, Babar scored 405 runs at an average of 67.50, including two centuries."

Fakhar Zaman, a member of the Pakistan national squad, was also named to the ICC ODI team of the year.
